Our staff are passionate about THEIR work and aim to return you back to the activities you love as soon as possible.

At Miramar Physiotherapy you can feel assured about the ability of your physiotherapist as we all have extensive postgraduate training and experience.
We are committed to ongoing education and regularly undertake training to keep up-to-date with the latest treatment options.

Paul Kuggeleijn

Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University in 1993. Prior to this he completed a 4 year degree in Physical Education. He started working in private practice in 1994 & also began the 3-year post-graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy (DipMT). Paul graduated from this course in1996, also concurrently passing the year-long PAANZ Acupuncture course. Paul has acted as the physiotherapist for numerous local, national & international sports teams.

Julie Norris

Julie graduated from Otago in 1988 as the top academic student. Over the past 28 years she has gained wide ranging experience working in several diverse clinical environments throughout NZ as well as in the UK. During her 3 year stay in England, she completed the Diploma in Cyriax Medicine. Back in NZ, she successfully passed the 3 year DipMT in 1996; then as acted as a clinical supervisor as well as an assistant tutor for the course. She worked at Khandallah Physiotherapy for almost 5 years before buying Miramar Physiotherapy with her husband Paul. Her special areas of interest are posture-related/muscle imbalance problems and especially since having children, problems arising from pregnancy & childbirth.

Enda Collins

Enda graduated with Bachelor of Science Honours Physiotherapy Degree from the University of East London in 2014. He worked at Homerton University Hospital as a rotational physiotherapist for 2 years gaining experience in numerous clinical areas including musculoskeletal outpatients. He moved to New Zealand to join our team in June 2016.

Megan Harding

Megan, the newest addition to our team, graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Otago in 2016. Originally from Wellington, Megan is happy to be back home and is enjoying treating people in a musculosketetal environment. She is passionate about her work , strives for excellence and is enjoying the challenge of helping getting people back to the activities they enjoy.

Kay Mahoney

Receptionist / Administration Manager
Kay, our Administration manager & morning receptionist, has been a resident of Miramar for 47 years before recently moving to the central city. She has has worked at the clinic for over 27 years - so there is not many of you that she won't know! She has a very close family with 4 grown -up boys who keep her life interesting. She also has 5 grandsons and one grand-daughter. Kay pretty much keeps the practice running & is always willing to help with any queries you may have.

Leigh Wallace

Receptionist/ Admininistrator
Leigh is our Accreditation Manager and Afternoon Receptionist. She comes to the clinic from a long retail background. With a passion for looking after people she will make you feel welcome and be happy to help.
