Cold temperatures, wet weather, changes in air pressure and decreased activity may leave your muscles and joints feeling stiff and achey during the winter months. Here are some tips to try and help you withstand the season!
Most people are less active in the winter – it is harder to get out & exercise when it is cold & dark and especially if you are hurting. However low impact exercise can actually reduce muscle and joint stiffness, improve circulation and because it stimulates endorphins, it will make you feel better!
Swimming, yoga and Pilates make great indoor winter exercise options as do our popular BodyFix classes. These small fun classes are a mixture of Pilates, cardio work and weight training mostly done on a Swiss ball. See our website for more details.
Our current opening hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8am – 6pm
Tuesday & Thursdays: 8am to 7pm
Saturdays: 9am to 1pm
